Allow me to tell you something about these people you see in the picture above. I don't know how they perceive me, but they are my friends -- they are special people to me. They are my only GLEE!
I'm so thankful to these people. They taught me precious things about life. They taught me that in order to teach, I must care...I must love. Moreover, these people inspired me so much to do wonderful things not just for myself but for other people as well. These people contributed a lot to who I am today.
I will miss these people. I will miss singing with them. I will miss chatting with them. I will miss teaching them.
I guess I'm feeling what the Velveteen Rabbit felt. I'm sad because they're all leaving me... but I'm also happy because they're all moving on to the next step. I guess what's important is that I played the game and I won friends.
Allow me therefore to say a few words to them.
Thank you GLEE for allowing me to become part of your lives. Thank you for allowing me to take care of you, sing with you, teach you, love you. Thank you for all your efforts -- the hard work, patience, and determination. Thank you for believing. Thank you for trusting. Thank you for making GLEE your second family.
Like the Velveteen Rabbit, I am now real because of you. Thank you for this gift! Know that I will cherish it for as long as I am breathing.
Take good care of yourselves! Always believe in the power of your dreams... The graduation song was actually chosen by me -- I purposely chose that song in remembrance of all your efforts. That was really for you!
